This kit is intended for 1989 thru 1992 Recreational, Tiller Electric, 40 and 50 models with a 4 1/2 amp charging kit. The 4 1/2 amp system requires a key switch to control 12 volt power to the regulator. The switch must be turned to OFF position when motor is stopped to prevent battery discharge
